Algebra University College, one of Europe’s greenest colleges, is actively involved in a number of sustainability projects. Aarhus University

Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, in Switzerland, is not only a leading hospitality management school but also one of Europe’s greenest colleges. EHL’s campus is the only Swiss campus to meet “Minergie P” standards. This Swiss eco-designation is very demanding. The university has geothermal probes for harvesting heat, photovoltaic panels that cover an area equivalent to three Olympic-sized swimming pools and a novel system of wastewater heat recovery. Together, these systems will meet 90% of the school’s heating requirements.
